The Safe Work Australia Code of Practice for First Aid in the Workplace 2016 provides a quota for ‘low-risk workplaces’. An office is a low-risk workplace for the purposes of the Code of Practice.
The code recommends one first aider for every 50 workers in a low-risk workplace. This is the minimum requirement and it is beneficial to have more trained if possible.
