Picketing

Picketing in the industrial context occurs when a group of workers and/or members of the public gather outside a workplace to:

communicate information to the general public or to other workers; or

disrupt the entry and exit of goods or other workers into or out of the premises.

Picketing is usually organised by a union representing the workers.
