WorkSafe Qld v WFM Connections Pty Ltd (2021)

WFM Connections Pty Ltd is a solar panel installation company based in Redcliffe, Queensland.

In August 2020, an apprentice electrician for WFM Connections was carrying an 18.5kg solar panel while he was perched on a ladder. The ladder slipped out from beneath him, causing him to fall approximately 2.4 metres to the driveway below. The apprentice sustained a subarachnoid haemorrhage and had no recollection of the incident.
