WorkSafe Victoria v Hillside Metal Pty Ltd (2022)

A small roof plumbing company, Hillside Metal, was contracted to install roof plumbing to a double-storey residential building that was being constructed. A 19-year-old apprentice, who was working with the company owner, slipped from the roof during rain and fell through the gap in the rails of the completed scaffold guard system, suffering significant injuries.
