Safety tip of the day!

When thinking health and safety, sometimes it is the most basic of workplace hazards that we overlook.

It could be an office worker sitting the wrong way in their chair, it could be a construction site worker straining their back to reach the light fitting, it could be a nurse lifting a heavy box of medical equipment…

For example, did you know that one of the main reasons for falls from heights are contributed to damaged ladders?

I know, it seems such a basic thing!

But a simple inspection of the ladder by your workers before they use it can save an incident from occurring in your workplace.

Keep an open mind when thinking about safety because it is not so black and white! The grey areas are where the dangers lurk so always be aware of exactly what your employees are doing and how they are doing it.

Think safety first!
