With incidents of COVID-19 rising in the Northern Territory, NT WorkSafe is reminding persons conducting a business or undertaking (PCBUs) of their COVID-19 notification requirements.

PCBUs must notify NT WorkSafe where a person who is infected with COVID-19 out of the conduct of the business or undertaking dies or requires immediate treatment as an in-patient in a hospital.

Notification is required regardless of whether the NT Department of Health is already aware of the case.
